A month-long evaluation of the MEI HCLOS system recorded sustained throughput of 400 Mbps across a 48 km single hop, holding the link through sustained rainfall and 60 km/h crosswinds. Evaluators noted that automatic path realignment recovered the link within eight seconds following deliberate mast displacement tests.
